Common Causes Of Juul Blinks Green 5 Times When Charging

If you own a juul device, you may have noticed that the green light blinks five times when it’s charging. This is a common occurrence, and it often happens for several reasons. In this blog post, we’ll explore the common causes of the green blinking light during charging.

Insufficient Cleaning Of The Juul Device

One of the most common reasons for the green blinking light during charging is that the device isn’t clean. There could be dirt or debris lodged in the charging port, which can interfere with the charging process. To avoid this, make sure that you thoroughly clean your juul device before charging it.

Here are a few steps you can follow to clean your device:

  • Remove the juul pod from the device
  • Use a cotton swab to clean the charging port
  • Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to clean the contacts on the bottom of the device
  • Reinsert the pod and try charging the device again

Incompatible Power Source

Another common cause of the green blinking light during charging is that you’re using an incompatible power source. This can happen if you’re using a generic usb charger, or if you’re charging your device with a computer or laptop. Juul recommends that you only use the charging dock that came with your device, and that you plug it into a wall adapter.

If you’re still experiencing the green blinking light, try using a different wall adapter or charging dock.

Damaged Juul Charger

If you’ve tried cleaning your device and using an appropriate power source, and you’re still experiencing the green blinking light, the issue may be with your charger. Over time, chargers can become damaged, which can prevent them from charging your device correctly.

Check your charger for any signs of damage, such as frayed wires or a bent connector. If you notice any issues, it may be time to replace your charging dock.

Overall, the green blinking light during charging is a common occurrence with juul devices. By following the steps outlined above, you can troubleshoot the issue and get back to using your device in no time. Remember to keep your device clean, use an appropriate power source, and check your charger for any damage.

1 thought on “Juul Blinks Green 5 Times When Charging: Here’s The Fix”

  1. I have had this happen to both my Juuls. The first one stopped working altogether, wouldnt charge or show any signs of life. So I bought a second one and used that for about a year until it did the same thing. As a shot in the dark, I took the first Juul and tried to charge it and lo and behold it started to charge. It blinked white for about 10 seconds then blinked green 5 times and stopped. I took it off the charger and plugged it into a higher power usb port and it charged like normal. After that, I could use the lower power usb port from then on. The second Juul didnt work for another 8 months. Randomly, I put a pod in it and put it on the charger and the white light came on and flashed red. I took it off and put it back on, it did the green flashing thing like the first one. So I plugged the charger into the higher powered usb port and then it charged like normal. What im thinking is that if the battery gets low enough, it doesnt have enough capacity to run the white led to indicate its charging and it doesnt want to completely die so it will stop charging. Assuming this is the case, why would Juul state it can only charge at 5W of power? 10W is what I needed to use to resurrect both my Juul devices.
